All applicants must have the basic requirements to meet the position description based on HomeCare+ policy and the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) Directives.
DCSI Child Related Clearance. DCSI/DHS Child Related Employment Screening - an individual is unable to apply directly for an Employment Screening, as an organisation is required to initiate applications.
First Aid Certificate - HLTAID003.
Minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care.
Australian Citizen or working visa
You will be required to undertake a number of physical tasks in your role as a Support Worker. Take the test and see how you go!
The personal assessment includes a Numeracy and Literacy Assessment. Invitations to sit the assessment will be forwarded by the HR Department to applicants that have been assessed and meet the job requirements.

When you have all the essential requirements to meet the minimum standards for the position, lodge an online application. Once your application has been lodged, the HR Department will get to work processing your application, assessing your knowledge and skills against the job requirements. The interview is a formal face to face meeting to get to know you. The interview questions are designed to give you and HomeCare+ an opportunity to assess your ability to handle the role of a Support Worker.
All short listed applicants will be reference checked. A minimum of two (2) referees will be contacted by a member of the HR Department. A referee cannot be a relative or friend.
Successful progression through all five (5) stages of the recruitment process will see you advance to our next scheduled Pre-employment training.
