Community Support Workers

HomeCare+ are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to work with us as community-based Disability Support Workers. You will represent our organisation and share our mission with your community, to support the independence of those living with a disability.

The Role Of A Support Worker

You will provide our clients with daily living supports, including personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, community access, and recreational visits.

Shifts are available across a 24/7 roster to suit your lifestyle.

Essential Criteria

  • Full COVID Vaccination Status
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • DHS Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • HLTAID003 or HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid certification
  • Desirable - Relevant Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Individual Support, Aged Care, etc.

As part of our assessment model, you may be invited to attend the HomeCare+ Assessment Centre. You will have the opportunity to meet with our team and showcase your practical skills and core values that will make you a valued member of our organisation.

Please note that to be successful in this round of employment, you will need to be available on Tuesday 7 February - Thursday 9 February 2023 to attend our mandatory two-day pre-employment Introduction Session. Otherwise, please contact us to learn of alternate upcoming opportunities.
