HomeCare+ always prioritises the care and safety of our clients and staff and is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19, particularly for the most vulnerable to whom we provide services. We are aligning our actions with advice from the Australian Government.
PQSA/HomeCare+ provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and free of risks to health, so far as is reasonably practicable. Our expectation is that our staff must take reasonable care for their health and safety in the workplace and for the health and safety of others who may be affected by what they do or don't do. If a staff member is feeling unwell, they should stay home and away from the workplace.
Specific requirements are in place for people who have returned from a country or region that is at high or moderate risk for COVID-19, or think they may have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. Click here for the list of at-risk countries and isolation requirements.
